The app that installs the printer and has the 'print test page' button is called system-config-printer. I spent many hours trying to debug this issue, but it turns out that this is only a problem with printing the test page, not a problem with the using the printer itself. I have recently upgraded from Sylvia to Tara and during the course of installs I could not get a test page to print when I installed a new printer. ![]()
